Interested in launching a social media presence for your chapter? Please contact Kara Stephens at Kara.Stephens@ahepp.org before starting a new page or handle. 

 

All new social media accounts must be reviewed by Kara Stephens before going live.

 

 

NAMING CONVENTION

 

 

  • Name - The name of the Chapter Twitter and Facebook accounts must adhere to the following format:
    • “AHEPP” “dash” “applicable abbreviation of the chapter” ”Chapter”.
    • Example: “AHEPP-MDC Chapter”

     

  • Twitter Handle – the handle of the Chapter Twitter account must adhere to the following format:
    •  “AHEPP” “dash” “applicable abbreviation of the chapter”
    • Example: “@AHEPP-MDC”

 

 

ARTWORK

 

 

  • Profile Photos - An approved profile photo optimized for Facebook and Twitter will be provided upon account approval.
  • Cover Photos - You may use a high-resolution cover photo of your choice.

 

 

OTHER PLATFORMS

 

 

If you would like to use other social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn), you must seek approval first.

Social media is an important tool to spread the word about AHEPP events and Chapters.  Please refer to the list below for the official Chapter and event hashtags.

TIPS

 

  • Keep content short and simple.
  • Provide more information with a shortened URL.
  • Include an image (using the branding guidelines) with each post.
